Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I got to celebrate another holiday today - St. Patrick's Day! I think holidays are fun - I get to dress up and Mommy usually takes me somewhere. Good times! :)

We started our day out with breakfast at home. There's nothing like oatmeal with peaches. Yumm-my! I even got to wear my St. Patrick's Day bib.

Pretty snazzy, huh?
After a nap, we headed out to see some of my buddies at Daddy's school. I got to stop by his classroom during Team Time and see some of his students, then Mommy and I had lunch with "the girls" - Aunts Maria, Sarah, and Elizabeth. They're lots of fun - and they even convinced Mommy to let me try my first brownies. I'm still not too sure about putting food in my mouth that isn't liquid-like, but after a little while I realized that I like the taste of the chocolate... although I thought it was more fun to suck on the container that once held the chocolate treats. Here are some pictures of me and the girls...
I had a lot of fun pulling Miss Maria's hair and pulling at Miss Elizabeth's face! It was nice to have a change from yanking at Mommy's hair - I think she enjoyed the change, too! :)

I also got to read two of my favorite books to Ms. Donna's class - The Gingerbread Man and Good Night. Ms. Donna and Ms. Beverly sure are sweet - and I love all of my friends who are in their class. Mommy tells me about them all the time; I think she misses seeing them every day! Anyway, I had so much fun seeing everyone and sharing my books with them.

Once we got home, I spent some time napping and then playing a little more before bedtime. Here are some pictures of me playing with some of my favorite toys...
This is my new "rocking butterfly" - I have lots of fun rocking on her and pulling at her wings and antenna!
I also like to "ride" on my car - Miss Danielle gave me this. It even has gears - it's like my own "Mommy Van"!
This is my Leap Frog table. Mommy propped it up for me so that I can pull myself up. Now I can sit up, stand up (holding on!), and pull myself up - almost to standing!
Mommy said that I should tell everyone about my bath last night. I'm really getting into my bath toys - especially my cups and my pink rubber ducky. Last night, I was playing with two of my cups, and Mommy asked me if I wanted to play with my rubber ducky. Silly Mommy - she thought that if she gave me the duck that I might put down one of the cups in order to play with it. Nope, I've got one more place I can hold stuff besides my two hands... my mouth! Daddy thinks I've come up with a new game.... Cup, Cup, Duck! (Rather than Duck, Duck, Goose...) Hey, whatever you want to call it - it's a lot of fun!
These are my cups...

Here's my pink rubber ducky. My hands were full, so I decided to hang onto it with my new teeth - I've got THREE teeth now... and am working on my fourth!

And here we go... Cup, Cup, Cup, DUCK!!!

Hope you have fun in your bathtub, too!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Love,
Savannah Grace

  1. Very few people can pull my hair and get away with it, so sweet Savannah live it up!!! You have the priviledge until the age of 2 and then the hair is off-limits. :) I loved seeing you and having lunch w/you & mommy. I miss seeing your mom every day @ work but do believe you are the best reason in all the world for her not to be here.
I think cup, cup, duck will become the newest game that all the babies will want to learn and you can sell & make big money. Get on that right away!
Your smile is always a highlight in my day! :)

    Miss you already.

  2. Oh, I love those pictures of all of us with my favorite Nanannah! They came out so cute. I particularly enjoy how you captured the look on Elizabeth's face while Savannah grabbed her earrings/hair. Haha. Seriously, that was such a fun lunch and I'm so glad you guys came. Can't wait for the next ladies' lunch! Kisses to the sweet girl!
